Det er som om det ikke går an å være glad i dette landet på den måten som også forventer forbedring og er villig til å ta et kritisk blikk. Av og til nevner jeg at vi er det landet i verden som har mest benektelse av menneskapte klimaendringer... delt med Saudi-Arabia.
Folk blir alltid så sure når jeg sier noe negativt om Norge, som ironisk nok eksemplifiserer en av mine største kritikker: den selvgode nasjonalismen. Hvis jeg nevner en forskjell mellom Norge og andre land, er responsen "Vi er jo lenger fremme på dette feltet", "Men vi i Norge er vi så flinke på X"
