I’ve now lived in #NYC long enough to watch the sunset of the token and the #Metrocard. Both were iconic, but I won’t miss the swipe any more than I missed having to purchase those 10-pack bags. One of the most amazing things about this city is the way it just says “out with the old” and moves on.
