I'm really debating upgrading my Mac. More RAM/Storage, and going back to a laptop after 2.5 years or so on a desktop Mac Studio. I have money saved, and the 14" MBP with 64GB ram, and the M5 Pro chip is within budget...

For the first few of days of daylight savings, I feed them somewhere in between the difference. So they get it maybe 30mins “late” on their clock, and 30mins early on the actual clock. Next day a bit closer to actual time, etc. eventually things get in sync

Have you done much with local LLM's on the new Mac yet? I've heard some mixed reports on how capable things are for dev with things like OpenCode, so keen to hear if anyone's had much success with using them in this way
