No, but I don’t think that’s the government’s entire strategy? They have put some chilling things on the table as potential retaliation (eg, through pricing up the east coast energy grid, given that Canada supplies a lot of power to the Eastern seaboard)

I think you already know the answer, which is that it would also lead to a huge economic slowdown in Canada, lots of people losing their jobs, a budget crisis federally…
