This is a resubmission after addressing the reviewer comments, and it gets stuck in the quality control step (for the second time now), before the editor gets it back on their desk…. I fin this worrying, because you imagine how easy mistakes will get introduced just for trying to sound different…
So This is a new one- we get the following reason for bouncing a paper submission: ‚1. We noticed that there are significant overlaps in lines xxx-xxx‘. Now these passages are descriptions of sample prep workflows- cells grown under the same conditions etc… is this due to journal AI use?
