‼️He reminded @ukparliament.parliament.uk that TB killed 1.25 million people in 2023 - likely making it the world’s leading infectious disease killer once again.
📈Here in the UK, cases are rising too, with a 13% increase in England last year. TB is a global & domestic threat we cannot ignore.
🗓️Last week, Chair of the @appgtb.bsky.social, @sojanjosephmp.bsky.social, spoke up for the millions affected by TB and rightly called for continued UK support to the Global Fund - the largest external funder of TB programmes. #EndTB #YesWeCanEndTB
