Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Karmala Harris doesn't have integrity but I always felt that outside of Democratic circles she wasn't popular with the greater public. They also need a candidate who doesn't come across as too progressive so as to attract conservative independents, and Kelly does.
To me this is what cost the Democrats the last election. Their candidate was someone who the party wanted NOT who the public wanted. I think #MarkKelly is someone most Americans couod get behind, as unlike many politicians these days he has integrity.

I 've been following the #Artemis2 mission with great excitement. Tonight after they passed behind the lunar far side I watched the #Moon rise & found it quite incredible to think of the crew up there. Here's some photos I've taken over the years with my telescope which I'm posting in their honour.
This was a very touching moment when #Artemis2 astronaut #JeremyHansen asks that a crater on the #Moon be named after the late wife of mission commander #ReidWiseman, who died from cancer in 2020.
