I read fewer books in 2024 than 2023 (40 vs 54), but so many excellent ones. My faves were JAMES by Percival Everett and ALL THE COLORS OF THE DARK by Chris Whitaker. Also loved The Future, Just Another Missing Person, Notes on an Execution, and The God of the Woods. Books, ftw!

I’ve seen #Wicked twice (so far) but didn’t realize Fiyero is Anthony from #Bridgerton until a video popped up in my feed about him having the same horse in both productions.

Mildly surprised when my teenager started watching Somebody Somewhere over my shoulder. Two episodes later she's sitting next to me commenting this is the first show she's seen that feels like real life. I think its quiet authenticity is what's drawn so many of us in. Plus, Sam's singing. And Joel.

I think of this as the Mr. Potatohead phase in #amigurumi. All crocheting complete, waiting to be stitched together into a....?

Welp, I did it. Set aside that 600+ page book, over 400 pages in, to read something that brings me joy.

When my Meta-owned app stopped working, my first instinct was to check Bluesky to see what happened. Feels like that crosses some sort of social-media-current-events threshold that Twitter/X used to fulfill.

Sounds like I need to move OWUtS up the stack!
