Well that escalated quickly!
When I asked my MP to ask the minister a question I didn’t imagine I’d end up in London watching her ask it from the public gallery.

Creep or whimsy or creepy and whimsy. As a child and now. Ideally not scared enough that I need to sleep with the light on but I probably will need to check under the bed and in the wardrobe.
Best little sister energy ever. Feeling daunted about going to London tomorrow so she’s bringing the bold vibes and travelling down with me.

Now I just need to act chill instead of like an excited toddler with a sugar rush.

Finding a great professional coach has been really key for me.
I think having less money for things like school business managers adds to it as well. We have 6 hours a week of SBM support. And there isn’t a caretaker. And support staff team keeps shrinking. It can definitely feel like you’re juggling fire
For me the shock came from the breadth of competencies I was expected to have when I became a head. From HR, finance, H and S, regulations, compliance…. I was definitely not ready / well prepared for that.

The high school are great and I’m not just saying that because my primary school currently lives in a portacabin on their tennis courts 😂😉
Youngest needs an operation in the middle of GCSEs.
Apprenticeship conditional offer want him to attend OH regarding health needs. Quite the week for him. If only I could wrap all 6 foot something of him up in cotton wool. Please let navigating what happens now with exams be straightforward.
