For AAS, 2 weeks is their minimum. For APA, 2 nights is their minimum. You could foster from APA and help because APA can then pull from AAS.

This has all been wildly mishandled, imo, but the Austin shelter community is hoping Austin will show up either to take a dog home (fostering could be for 2 weeks), to adopt, or to volunteer.

If you've been thinking about fostering or adopted a dog in the Austin TX area, Austin Animal Services needs you on Saturday. They're over capacity, have a fire marshal inspection on Sunday, and if they can't find homes for 40 dogs before then, may have to euthanize them.
