The tortie is rescued by a firefighter — she has climbed even higher, meows loudly, and resists the help.” (Archive Gelderland, Newspaper Brabants Dagblad).
A cat stuck in a tree (in 1980) waits patiently for the firefighters and casually walks down the rescue ladder. Another (in 2024) protested loudly the entire time, climbing higher and higher whenever her rescuers got close. Clinging to a wobbly top branch, she was finally caught and rescued.

Cat Monet, black with quite a lot of white bits (face, belly, paws), lies on the edge of a table (covered by a Persian rug). Behind the cat a man with an 80s hairdo, smoking and with a glass of beer in front of him, seems to be talking to someone who is not in the picture. In the background there are records and a record player.
