I'm sorry but if you have 4,000 employees and your revenue is 6 billion, you make 1.5 million per employee and if you can't make a profit margin there, you are simply embezzling it.

I do realise the futility of being annoyed by all this. The US will continue as it always does, Europe will be pathetic as it always is, capitalism will triumph, richer people will get richer, the climate's stability will continues to decay, and the vast majority of us will do what we can to get by.
Also, if you are a journalist using words like "existential threat" to describe Iran, have a fucking word with yourself. Even now, with carte blanche to retaliate as they like, using all the weapons at their disposal, their military capabilities are clearly NOT VERY FUCKING GOOD.
I can take some comfort from living in Spain, where the govt does seem to have some consistency in speaking out against nearly every Trump foreign policy move. But in Europe they are very much the minority.
Special mention to Canada too, because Mark Carney could not even keep up his "value-based realism" schtick for two months. I called it at the time, he either didn't write the speech, or was just trying to get himself some positive liberal media coverage to justify the flight to Switzerland.
Is modern reality just a massive PSYOP? Do govt's even need to try anymore? The US and Israel launched an unprovoked attack on Iran, killed dozens, Iran obviously responded. Most European leaders, who were seemingly kept in the dark about this in advance, release statements condemning... Iran.
