Contrast that with the situation last year when the rich acted as if raising it from 28 to 32 percent were the end of Western Civilization. So overwhelming is that opposition, that politicians who privately see no other alternative to raising taxes, remain silent, because to favor tax hikes publicly would be political suicide.

Somethings wrong with me because I’ve been able to settle a few nagging plot points at the start of my story by imagining it all as a live action fantasy film series being recapped by an A* generated tiktok recap account. I don’t even watch those. I don’t know why this has happened.
