Hey Riftbounders! TL;DR (more in the thread - 1/11)
1: We're discussing card bans in the near future based on overly-dominant play patterns, but none to announce today, nor an expected date for bans.

The event was so much fun!
A special shout-out to the polish team, who made watching the top 8 in person an absolutely wild experience!
we need to talk about that Ring Super Bowl ad
Excited to see I'm not the only one determined to name software after members of the mustelid family đŠŠ
Hey all! We posted new Tournament Rules today (riftbound.leagueoflegends.com/en-us/news/a...) This post doesn't have a breakdown of what changed - apologies! Something formal will go up soon, but for now, I wanted to highlight the bigger changes. Big thanks to Frank for his work on the TR! (1/5)
Hello friends! My team is hiring - specifically a gameplay text editor (to work on templating, rules, shepherding sets to the final line), or as Riot calls it, a UX Writer. Please read through the job description and apply if it sounds like your jam! www.riotgames.com/en/work-with...
As you all saw, Spiritforged preorders went fast today. We know it was a frustrating experience for a lot of you. Overall, we saw two major issues: first, even with ~50 percent more product than Origins, we still didnât have enough to meet demand. (1/9)

Continuation, it reads: The new single "Everybody Scream" out tomorrow at 12 PM ET / 5 PM BST

Guardian headline saying, "âItâs terrifyingâ: WhatsApp AI helper mistakenly shares userâs number Chatbot tries to change subject after serving up unrelated userâs mobile to man asking for rail firm helpline"
'Meredith,' some guys ask, 'why won't you shove AI into Signal?'
Because we love privacy, and we love you, and this shit is predictable and unacceptable. Use Signal â€ïž
You can us my quarto plugin that embedds mol* into the html output (or steal parts of the code). Contains options to do that with trajectories:

Okay hear me out, what if building your protein model was a first person horror survival experience??

A screenshot showing information for the GitHub repo "Molecular Nodes". Of importance is the counter for the number of stars which is at 999.
So who is going to be â1000? #MolecularNodes

Oh, fun project!
What you will enjoy also for markdown, not just quarto, is my otter.nvim plugin for your code chunks.
I personally don't do much highlighting and concealing in the plain text format, because I don't like it when text moves around during editing due to conceals etc. The exception to that are images (only on hover), which I do like, via image.nvim.
Composite image illustrating enzyme inhibition concepts with a black dog in different poses: Top-left: The dog wears a pink flying disc on its head, labeled âNon-competitive (allosteric) inhibition (EâInc).â Center: The dog in a tub, tongue out, labeled âE,â connected to âEâSâ (enzymeâsubstrate). Top-right: The dog holding a yellow tennis ball, labeled âCompetitive inhibition (EâIc).â Bottom-center: The dog chewing a blue ball, labeled âSubstrate binding.â Arrows and labels show the relationships between each form of the enzyme.
Composite image demonstrating âgoodâ versus âbadâ enzymeâsubstrate binding with the same black dog: Left: The dog with a blue ball in its mouth, labeled âEâSá”â (âbadâ binding mode). Center-left: The dog in a tub with tongue out, labeled âE.â Center-right: The dog holding a blue ball in a more controlled way, labeled âEâSâ (âgoodâ binding mode). Far right: The dog beside shredded toy pieces, labeled âE + Pâ (product formation). Text labels and arrows illustrate the transition from enzymeâsubstrate complexes to products.
It's important to communicate to the public the importance of basic science. Coco is happy to help explain drug binding mechanisms and enzyme kinetics basics:

a fully grown dalmatian is leaning on a blanket on a couch. heâs smiling with his tongue hanging out a little bit. he has two heart-shaped dots on his face, one on each eye, making him the dog version of the heart eyes emoji.
This is Charlie. He has literal heart-eyes. 14/10 would be an honor to pet (IG: charlie.the.dalmatian)

2. A memo distributed by NSA leadership to its staff says that on February 10, all NSA websites and internal network pages that contain banned words will be deleted.
This is the list of 27 banned words distributed to NSA staff:
a slightly damp golden retriever puppy leaps toward the camera with his front paws right at the bottom of the frame. his ears are flapping out away from his head a bit, and he has the sweetest look in his eyes. his tiny razor-sharp teeth are pristine, and his tongue is a little wrinkled like it doesnât fully fit in his face yet.
This is Drake. He is very happy to see you. Saw you about five minutes ago, but is thrilled it's happening again. 12/10

We are looking forward to feedback from and extensions by the community! Try it out for your favorite (bio)molecules - ligands, post-translational modifications, metal-enzymes, DNA, ...
Just had my first experience reviewing a paper which was obviously LLM garbage. If youâre a journal editor who wants to find real peer reviewers in the future, do not ask us to review things which are clearly not real after reading two paragraphs. đ§Ș
Where does DNA break when pulled? We can tune it! Paper led by Johannes Hahmann, MD simulations by Boris, great collaboration with Herrmann and Goestl labs @ RTWH
