Hearing reports that letters to NEH awardees haven’t been received. Note that these went out to institutional grants administrators and a huge number were caught in spam as the email address was…fishy. So if you’re at a college/university, check with sponsored programs.
We had planned to make a post this morning celebrating 100+ bluesky followers for the #NEH union #AFGE 3403.
Instead, we are learning that a large number of our members were placed on Administrative Leave at almost midnight last night, cut off from our systems, and facing unknown days ahead.
I love Jasper Fforde’s Thursday Next series. Not necessarily new, but definitely good. I think getting lost in a good book is what a lot of NEH staff need.
