My life recently…
Awesome to watch a history event as it occurs!
Fresh harvested asparagus from our garden.
It is asparagus season again in the #KnightGarden! Great first harvest
This from was my favorite and felt reminiscent of ThinkGeek. youtu.be/crJhVnitNiA?...
Played a cooperative game of the original version of Fortune and Glory that I picked up recently on a used boardgame sale table at my FLGS. I had never played it before but heard it was a fun game. It was wonderfully thematic and chaotic, we had a blast. The components are so good for the time.
And I am the opposite. I preferred both The Martian book and movie over Project Hail Mary. And I am not a fan of Ryan Gosling. I will say the audible book for Project Hail Mary was enjoyable.
Wind storms took out internet for over 24 hours Friday into Saturday but no other damage. Now I just want winter weather to go away.
Played some Civ7 on PS5 and picked up an older game on a sale table at my FLGS that I am excited to try, Fortune and Glory.
Using a Star Trek gif, post where you are right now

If you see this post a Star Trek
Three comic books. Thundarr the Barbarian 1, Carmen Red Claw 1, and Casey Jones 4.
Today was a fun pull list pickup from my local comic shop. I have been slowly getting into comics again via limited series stories and graphic novels.
Totally agree. And with how flexible and open ended the magic system is in Mage, the Storyteller and the players have a huge impact on the fun and mechanics of the campaign.
Mage: The Sorcerers Crusade ttrpg
Just arrived and brings back some fun memories. Wanted to read it again so found a nice used copy, maybe even run it again as a one shot/mini campaign sometime.
I have been enjoying reading TTRPGs again, especially older ones. Finished Deadlands Classic and L5R 1e recently.

When someone tries telling me I must not be a real Star Trek fan.
Dinner and game day planned with another couple for Sunday to continue our play of The Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring - Trick Taking Game. I also plan to do some serious reading of my ttrpg to be read pile.
Pile of ttrpg books including AD&D Manual of the Planes, AD&D Legends & Lore, GI Joe Hawk’s Personnel Files, Deadlands 20th Anniversary Edition, Ironclaw Omnibus, Sentinel Comics.
Star Trek Adventures RPG - The 23rd Century Campaign Guide
In the past week, my ttrpg to be read pile grew suddenly. Everything just happened to arrive every day or two. I have a lot of reading to catch up on. Oh, and a late arrival to add as well.
As a DM in fantasy games, my big baddies tend to be organizations (cults, guilds, societies, etc) rather than an individual person, single monster, or species. This let's me use a varities of unique species and monsters as minions and leaders.
For a game called Dungeons & Dragons, we saw plenty of dungeons but so very few dragons. When we did encounter the rare dragon, it was an epic event for the campaign. More often, we engaged with half dragons, dragonkin, the minions of dragons, or dragon magic infused items building the legends.
Sadly, not in the US.
Did you find a place streaming the movie?
Started with a game day on Thursday with @markdc.bsky.social teaching us Mansions of Madness. Have another board game day on Sunday with my daughter and friends. Playing some Diablo 4 Season 11 (the new Paladins are so much fun!) and Civ 7 as well.
What was the last movie you watched in 2025
Marvel t-shirt, X-men t-shirt, and an M577 APC toy.
Some days Goodwill just gets you.
If you enjoy the Dresden Files novels, then I highly recommend reading Dresden Files Accelerated and/or the original Dresden Files RPG. The books have hilarious in world character commentaries in the margins that engage with the reader to explain the world and the system.
3d printed dice tower
My brother-in-law printed this as gifts for gamers in the family. It is in three parts.
No new to me games. I did get some fun game related gifts including a printed dice tower, a wooden treasure chest (or is it a mimic)?, and a bag of coins and treasure.
