I look back and can't understand why no one helped him. His life and those he has killed are gone. Just ignoring the problem and making him drag other kids through it was never the answer.

This happened to me. For years this one kid was always put next to me, "to help him." He stole my stuff, hit and bit me, and never left me alone, but I was always in trouble for taking to tell him to stop or fighting back. He is a meth head and murder now.

I've been rebuilding friendships with folks I've known since grade school and learning of the volatile nature, out right abuse, and alt-right slide of everyone's parents is crushing. We all suffered quietly. Its why none of us have kids. At least my parents aren't/weren't bigots.
