"Carnage incomparable and human squander"

Mental Cases - W Owen

We remember to redouble our efforts not to let it happen again

Mum and daughter found dead at home months after 999 plea Alphonsine Dijako Leuga and her daughter were found three months after the call, an inquest hears.

This was clearly racism. Alphonsine Leuga requested an ambulance, gave her symptoms and her address but because she didn't answer if she needed an interpreter the call handler recorded it as an abandoned call.

“They came from the very same streets we came from.
They walked the very same lanes.
They went to the very same churches and pubs.
They sang the same songs and refrains.

So, when I walk these roads to remember these folk.
(For, my Granda was one of these men).
I’ll remember the shout Faugh A Ballagh.
And I’ll cheer on the Oul 36th.”

I know and understand that some of you reading this will think the harm drugs inflict on our community is so severe that only a punitive approach is appropriate.

However, I think there is no evidence that this approach is helping the Loyalist community. I lay out the case for decriminalising illegal
substances using the Principles of

The intersectionality of discrimination faced by loyalist women combined with the anonymity available to online perpetrators has resulted in sustained abuse aimed at intimidating, degrading, belittling, and silencing our voices. #NoToHate

Sexual violence, racism, scapegoats and Loyalism.

Sexual violence, racism, scapegoats and Loyalism.

Male violence against women and girls is a misogyny problem, not an issue caused by immigration. Why then has the sexual assault in #Ballymena resulted in a pogrom?

Violence against women and girls is caused by Misogyny. We need compulsory and comprehensive relationship and sex education with a focus on consent and deradicalising boys who have been exposed to violent misogyny. Check in with your teenager’s school today and find out how they are going to deal with violent misogyny and issues of consent. We need compulsory, consent focused RSE.
