Why can't I look up the property tax for the rental unit I live in? Tried Cook Cty Treasurer's website & Cook Cty Property Tax Portal, and both said cannot find record for this address ???

I used a bike rack this weekend that exists because I complained about it not existing.

City is skimping. This round of street cleaning has only 2 signs per block (1 at start, 1 at end). Not a lot of visibility; seems like a recipe for tickets. If paying to print + post every time, should be a meaningful #. Or just make permanent signs w permanent schedules like the rest of the city!

Why does the air in Hyde Park smell like dog shit right now? I keep checking my shoes and it's not me. Stopped a stranger to ask him if he smelled it too, and he said yes, for several blocks he's been noticing it.

Actually.... In college, a frien had a bunch of (miniature! Like 1") memorial style-placards printed with his name and put them in rando places on campus - bathroom stalls, chalkboards, lampposts, desks, trashcan, etc. (e.g., "Joe Schmo '14 memorial lamppost"). Just to see if anyone would notice.
