I am in a minority in preferring it to Last Crusade. I saw them all on their first outings and Doom felt like the over the top roller coaster it was. Crusade, at first, struck me as watered down and sentimental. I've come around to it in latter years but Doom is a strong 2nd favourite for me.

The version of Temple of Doom that was on Sky One this week seemed to contain more of the ceremonial 'heart plucking' sequence than I had ever seen before on this side of the world. I'd seen it before on Australian TV. Has there been a conscious decision to uncut this or has it just slipped in?
