After listening carefully to the debate on the #AssistedDying Bill, I still have reservations about the detailed wording but I voted AYE because I believe the seriousness of the issues means it deserves a 2nd Reading and to go to Committee Stage for detailed scrutiny & amendment.

A change for this week’s #ConstituencyFriday - in Parliament for the 2nd Reading of the #AssistedDyingBill

Rightly not an issue for party politics.

A day for all of us in Parliament to make, and listen carefully to, the arguments on all sides of this issue & exercise wise judgment.
