I don’t doubt your experience. The train “service” in the US is more than garbage. The train from SLC to SF is something like 19 hours. It only takes 12 to drive. I can get from Valencia Spain to Paris via train in 12 hours inc the layover in Barcelona. And it’s 200km further away.

Train from SF to NYC usually takes around 82-90+ hours.
Leaving Earth’s orbit to the moon took about 95 hours and the full trip took ~120 hours.

I do wonder if this person has ever seen a plane at flying altitude from the ground. They’re like 4 mm in size and that’s at 35k feet away. Artemis II is 252,700 miles away or roughly 1.33 billion feet away. The plane would appear to be about 1/62 the size of a helium atom.
