EpiBlink is running a couple of short surveys. I’m part of a research project looking at management solutions for light triggered medical conditions such as migraines, photosensitive epilepsy or neurological overstimulation. We‘d love to get some insight.

One concerning aspect of the US tariffs, is that everyone is suddenly a macroeconomist. Since a British PM who studied PPE at Oxford still tried to crash the economy… then your keyboard warrior hasn’t got a hope.

Since I haven’t got AI to write the presentation, prepare a speech or even write my current research project code correctly, it is definitely change not replace.

As nice as Bluesky is going to be, it’ll never be proper Twitter. I have a social circle there that won’t be replicated here.

Maybe, certainly less than his more recent successors, almost a different level. Politicians in general are quite bad but a bumbling buffoon, someone living in la la land who nearly crashed the economy and someone worth hundreds of millions aren’t relatable to the average voter.

Sunak bringing Cameron back has only served to remind us what a proper leader is. For all Cameron’s faults (Brexit referendum to name one!), he is articulate, a good communicator and not a smarmy git. Bringing him back was only good for having an effective foreign secretary. Embarrassing for Tories

At the moment, I hate having epilepsy. My life is so uncertain again after this unexplained seizure. Idk if I’ve damaged the shoulder surgery but there’s so much pain. Mentally this seizure has screwed me up. My shoulder surgeon is intimidating and probably will ignore anything I say.

Recovery from shoulder surgery is chuffing difficult. I can’t wait for a pain free day but it’s still 6 weeks away. BUT I can carry a cup of tea.

I joined Twitter in 2010, albeit a bit late to it so a lot of my friends had it which made finding people easier. I’ll get the hang of it one day.
