It started with a trip cut short by storm Éowyn and ends in the beautifully autumnal #Connemara #Gaeltacht. 8 months & 180 test sessions later, data collection is finished.

Bilinguals score in the normative mean in at least one language. There is no "bilingual delay" & bilinguals with DLD are not double delayed.

Rowena Garcia is presenting research at #ISB15 showing that #crosslinguistic #priming occurs across #typologically unrelated languages & without overlap of constituent order. The degree of overlap modulated the magnitude of the effect.
