but after a few days of them just not being receptive to my directions, and not replying, I decided to voice it

I'm sliiiiiightly exaggerating, but not by much

every Filipino knows if you wanna go to big events, you gotta go to the big city, and the biggest cities are in the Metro Manila cluster,

or other huge cities like Cebu and Davao

but everywhere else only gets it after the big city gets it, if at all

we definitely have rentable theatres, but acquiring a movie that's only in theatres in other countries, that's out of common people's hands

the Philippines isn't like the US, where big events can happen in New York, California, Texas, Washington, etc.

everything international is in Metro Manila

Btw, since I sent a desperate plea to the e-mails of SM Malls PH Customer Care, inquiring about a possible TADC The Last Act showing in the Philippines, if a showing DOES happen, I'm taking partial credit for making it happen uwu

(but this will probably be as effective as Caine's suggestion box...)

I admire your optimism, but it's probably won't do anything unless I travel to Metro Manila and go to one of the big theatres there

we in the Provinces of the Philippines don't really have a sway on what international events happen in the country, because they're *all* centered in Metro Manila

As a Filipino I can't exactly describe how much Not A Thing emailing a cinema is

as far as I know there's not even a direct contact to local cinemas, you'd have to contact the management of the entire mall franchise, and hope it reaches the people who decide on movies (which I did email them)

The moment this becomes available in the Philippines, in a location that is reasonable for me to travel to, I'm getting a ticket

The problem is, there's really no guarantee

That's mostly the things people are up in arms about~
