I realized lately that I love when stories are welcoming to big changes as a form of improvement,
instead of viewing 'preserving the natural state of affairs' as the pinnacle of joy / happiness
It's an abstract feeling, but I can see it pop up in a lot of my favorites~

That is part of why I loved the Redwall cartoons. Authentic and thoughtful writing. A lot of time of quietness and not just grabbing attention.
