I do despair at human nature. This isnt caused by funding cuts - it's caused by scummy, self-entitled, thick people. However, councils must fund clean ups when necessary. We need to stop accepting antisocial behaviour.
We live in a modern suburban housing estate in #Edinburgh. It's taken many years (and a few £) to encourage wildlife (particularly birds and hedgehogs) into the small garden. It's not exactly wildlife friendly in cities. The odds really aren't in the hogs favour. So we do what we can!

We love wildlife but photography is not my skill. Often just snapped with the phone...I think i actually used a camera for this one.
The fox has been taking a voyeuristic interest in the courtship of the hedgehogs. Despite everything, they actually seem to have a mutual respect and largely the fox leaves the hogs alone. He's just jealous about their food station.

Actually, no. This isn't a UK election and we judge the incumbent Scottish government on its record for what they are accountable for. This isn't comparing council services.
The SNP have been in power for so long that the health, education, housing, social care, roads, legal, policing crises are all their accountability. Adding to that a constitutional crisis that diverts attention only adds to the problems.
All parties want to promise great things. None say how much they'll really cost or how they'll be paid for or by whom. #PieInTheSkyPolitics
