Last week, #LACoFD FS 118 & 145 FFs participated alongside the CHP for the Every 15 Minutes Program at Rowland Heights HS.
This two-day program, challenges HS students to think about drinking & driving, safety, making mature decisions & the impact their decisions have on others.

2026 Explorer Disaster Drill๐๐ฅ
Today, 108 #LACoFD #Explorers received training on hose advancement, extinguishing fires, auto extrication, wildland fire tactics, rappelling, & exposure to HM & USAR equipment.

On 3/30, the #LACoFD conducted a prescribed pile burn in the Tonner Canyon area in Diamond Bar. Strategic fuel reduction is an essential tool for the prevention of catastrophic wildfires. These planned burns are carefully managed to reduce smoke impacts & improve wildland health.
Today marks the 1-year anniversary of the #LACoFD LA-DROP program, w/whole blood available in the field for FFPMs to use on critically ill trauma patients.
LA-DROP is the #LACounty collaborative & CAL-DROP the 5-County collaborative. To date, LA-DROP has transfused 57 patients.

This past Sunday at #LACoFD FS 7 in West Hollywood, units from the LACoFD, LAFD & Beverly Hills Fire Department took part in an interagency #MayDay training drill.
In the #WestHollywood area, our agencies work together daily. Training together keeps us ready when weโre called to action.
