Looking from a different direction the sun isn’t much of an issue on the color and the trees are a much darker hue. Also note that els what looked like one tree from the front is actually two when viewed from a different angle.

A bit closer view shows that the tree on the right has a double trunk and one of the those looks to have been stumped, probably fire damage.

Let’s do this library tree that I sourced from afar. Oh wait, it’s two trees, one doing better than the other, but both have healthy canopies. So visit your local library & if it isn’t surrounded by trees, I’m site they will have books on them. California #NativePlants #nature

The last few days, people that I followed & respected have attacked those w different opinions. This has led to a posse of attackers. When someone screen shots & claims LOOK, for their many thousands of followers, maybe they weren’t so great after all. I thought that we were better here.

I haven’t seen any ICE statements from him. I know that he has strongly supported DACA

The center for biological diversity action fund is endorsing steyer. Not to argue here bc I’m leaning becerra, but really need to see what he says about ICE. There’s a debate tomorrow night on KTLA & both will be there.

A closer look at the trunk bark that shows charred signs at the base where a fire went through. It is surrounded by a duff layer of leaves.

Another park tree next to a road. Most of these trees have burned but have had no problem healing on their own. #Nature is pretty amazing as long as we don’t screw it up. California #nativePlants

There’s a politician in California that keeps on running ads that she’s the only one that has voted w the Donald 💯 %. At first I thought that it was from her competition but no, she’s endorsed the ad.

No, bc that’s never happened to me. BUT every time someone blocks me, I go & block them right back like a 5yo.

I need to hear directly from him on ICE & the environment.
The center for biological diversity action fund is endorsing Steyer. As much as I hate a businessman running things, there’s more hate in my heart for kidnapping people of the street & polluters.

I watched this & my take is that the chunky glasses that are so popular in the mainstream now are a precursor to designers getting us all used to enormous dweebs.

Unusually active April weather pattern to continue this week, and possibly beyond, as subtropical northeastern Pacific waters reach record warmth - Weather West April 19, 2026 - Daniel Swain - Milder temperatures in April than March, with much more precipitation; snowpack, however, remains extremely low What a strange Water Year it has been in 2025-2026! We started the WY with record rainfall during Oct-Dec across much of the central and south coast, including the wettest Oct-Dec period ever observed in Santa Barbara, Ventura, Kern, and #

A large oak tree next to a roundabout in a parking lot at a community park. There is a large open round area in the foreground surrounded by an asphalt road and I can only assume that there was one something of importance here too. There is a galvanized trash can to the right for size comparison. There are other trees such as sycamores in the background. The sky is clear and blue.

At the edge of the tree’s canopy there is a stump from a much smaller tree that was cut down but refuses to give up with lots of new bushy growth

Parks have some pretty awesome trees. There’s this one that takes the spotlight and is very good at it. It looks like a smaller tree was cut down but keeps on going on the edge of the big tree’s canopy California #nativePlants #nature
