Aaand I won’t be told if they actually found anything during the surgery until potentially 2-3 weeks later? Like, whyyyyyy can’t they debrief before discharging me from hospital? I don’t understand.

I went with a list of questions and she smirked and laughed at me for most of them, and she’s also the surgeon who will be doing my surgery- I can’t pick because nhs. Also had a preop appt yesterday even though I’ve no idea of date for actual surgery and I’ll likely find out a few days before

-just a small health/nhs vent into the void- i *finally* have been seen by a gynaecologist after over a year on the waitlist (and two years fighting to get on it) and she was so belittling it’s made me scared that when i get my surgery they’ll tell me i actually made everything up.

There is free application called Calibre that you can also remove DRM with! (Which means you can read your kindle books via non Amazon devices). It’s really easy to do!

Physical mostly! I used to be great at sketchbooking out of it, but right now I want to try different fiber arts, making chainmail, pottery- basically anything that isn’t drawing or painting 🥲

A friend suggested drawing in my comfort zone for art block, which makes sense- except the problem is I want to go completely out of it in the first place

Is there a word for this experience as an artist? It’s not artist’s block exactly, but I have zero motivation to use my usual mediums and only want to experiment with new crafts the last few months. I wouldn’t mind, but drawing is my job, so I kind of have to do it. Any tips?
