We had a great day yesterday at County Hospital in Staffordshire on the renal units and elderly care wards.

Today we're back at Royal Stoke Hospital on the cancer wards and will be there Thursday and Friday as well.

Lucinda’s skills lie in her abilities to drive performances that place underrepresented and unheard
voices at the heart of ambitious professional arts projects with excellence at their heart. She has a
lifelong interest in transforming and democratising the cultural landscape, providing access and
participation to transformative creative experiences and providing audiences with the chance to
shift their perceptions of what performance can offer. She is a visionary creative leader, skilled at
leading large collaborative teams, bringing multidisciplinary art forms and cross disciplinary research
interests to a shared agenda through performance arts.
She is a skilled independent dance facilitator with strong experience in performance principles of co
design and co production and co creation. Her dance practice is based on principles of
improvisation, anatomical release and influenced by somatic practices and the art of touch based
facilitation.
She founded and has led Rosetta Life for 25 years. Rosetta Life is a performance arts in health
innovation charity delivering high quality performance arts interventions, films and creative
engagement campaigns to change the way we perceive the elderly, frail, disabled, and those who
live with life limiting illnesses. She leads a permanent team of three with a larger network of
associate artists - composers, musicians and dance artists who bring new work to audiences across
the UK.
Rosetta Life’s Stroke Odysseys project started as a dance project in a residency on the wards of the
National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and has gone on to become a national
programme, with performance companies based in Reading, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Donegal and
London. It is one of three interventions proven to improve patient health, that is being trialed among
larger groups of people within NHS hospitals as part of SHAPER, the world’s largest study into the
impact of arts in health, funded by Wellcome Trust.

She is a visionary creative leader, skilled at leading large collaborative teams, bringing multidisciplinary art forms and cross disciplinary research interests to a shared agenda through performance arts. She is a skilled independent dance facilitator with strong experience in performance principles of co design and co production and co creation. Her dance practice is based on principles of improvisation, anatomical release and influenced by somatic practices and the art of touch based facilitation. She founded and has led Rosetta Life for 25 years. Rosetta Life is a performance arts in health innovation charity delivering high quality performance arts interventions, films and creative engagement campaigns to change the way we perceive the elderly, frail, disabled, and those who live with life limiting illnesses. She leads a permanent team of three with a larger network of associate artists - composers, musicians and dance artists who bring new work to audiences across the UK. Rosetta Life’s Stroke Odysseys project started as a dance project in a residency on the wards of the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery and has gone on to become a national programme, with performance companies based in Reading, Bristol, Buckinghamshire, Donegal and London. It is one of three interventions proven to improve patient health, that is being trialed among larger groups of people within NHS hospitals as part of SHAPER, the world’s largest study into the impact of arts in health, funded by Wellcome Trust.
