Slowly continuing working on her 🦇 flats WIP

WIP - Using the upcoming Mystic Star's Vampire Ball as an excuse to draw vampire ladies in anachronistic clothing. I love drawing ruffs and exposed panniers, hoop skirts, corsets, bustles and all that stuff. It's like an insectoid exoskeleton worn as armor.

The intention with this one was to evoke old codexes - byzantine style, with the gold and jewel tone. (And I never pass on a chance to shill for my beloved pomegranates and crooked trees.)

Throwback - Illustration from 2019, done for fashion brand Medicine. Available on t-shirts back then.

Been learning leatherwork lately. One of my first attempts - simple phone pouch from scraps from closed bookbinding business. Leather was too soft and the window could be cut out better. The handbag is one of my latest attempts that i'm pretty satisfied with - think I'm getting better at this!🙌
