It's a surprising omission on my part as I love the work of John Mills. I'll have to take a look at this (when I'm in the right frame of mind!).
The "police officer gets eaten" scene from "THE BEAST FROM 20,000 FATHOMS" (1953) homaged sixty years later by the "DINOSAURS ATTACK!" comic book (2013).
