Oh me too, sounds great!
Morning all, I'm currently reading Thrawn Alliances by Timothy Zahn, a Star Wars novel. π
Oh brilliant, can't wait!
Aren't they, I wasn't sure how it would turn out but I love it. I think I'll make her a matching headband βΊοΈ x
Thank you, she's really great and is learning to knit now too x π§Άβ€οΈ
Thank you, she chose it from a few options I showed her. Will be really cosy for sure x
Knitted hat, made from orange/peach/pink yarn with a pink bobble on top.
I took a little break from the jumper to make a requested hat for my 8 yo niece. I'm hoping the weather turns soon so that she doesn't need it for a while but it's all ready now!

π€£π€£π€£ That's hilarious!
I'm currently reading Christine Falls by John Banville, my first Banville and I'm really enjoying the evocative writing.
Fierce mild here too, love it. π±
Thank you so much , I've never thought of myself as creative, just someone who is able to follow instructions.
But it does feel great to see something grow and take shape because my hands made it happen! π§Άπ
This is great advice , I'm already thinking about what I want to knit next! π€
Thanks so much x
Thank you so much, I'm definitely going to head down to the yarn shop today and get some stoppers ππ»

Yes, I'm going to get the little stoppers for sure. Also that's a great idea about switching over to sleeves for a change. This is my first jumper ever so I'm following the pattern step by step , but good to get all the tips for my next efforts! Thank you π§Άππ»
Go raibh maith agat! I'm following a really good step by step pattern that has a video tutorial too, I wouldn't be enjoying it so much otherwise! π€π§Ά
Thank you! π
I'll definitely post a pic, for better or for worse! No matter how it turns out, I've already learned so much! π§Άππ»
I think I'll get some stoppers for sure, thank you!
100%
Thank you! I was worried i'd get sick of looking at it, but I still like it π€
Gowan ye good thing! ππ»ππ»ππ»
Photo of progress so far on first time knitting a jumper. The collar and yoke are done and the stitches for the sleeves are now on separate circular needles.
Okey dokey I've finally finished my yoke(y)!
I've put the sleeve stitches onto needles rather than scrap yarn, hoping I don't regret that, but I can always change it if it gets too fiddly I guess?
I'm so pleased, it's starting to look like a real jumper now! π§Άππ»

I'm a bit nervous that it's too good to be true but will find out soon enough! ππ»
