I for one actually liked your idea and see value in it. Having a way to make custom animation events easier and linked to the animation resource file seems a good use case for some of my personal projects.
Is there a PR or issue open that describe what this proposal is and what Event Track would do?

It is 100% too restrictive. I got a few plugins and Im receiving bug reports and Github issues from users mentioning that warning as if there were issues that really are not issues.

I'm against using AI for this. But I don't think Larian means to be "training a model from scratch". Instead, they’re problem talking about: AI Fine-tuning. Using LoRA, DreamBooth, or other methods, they can refine it with their own IP and art style. This is feasible and technically sound.

I was actually just reading about this! Look up 'Platform Cooperatives. It’s a legal way to make the users the actual owners/shareholders. It’s a bit of a rabbit hole but seems to fit what you want for an artist commune. It would be so cool to see a 'user-owned' version of this.
