Spot anything different about the latest issue of Walk? ♻️

We’ve switched to a paper envelope instead of a film wrapper, so there's less was and easier recycling 🌳

We're in Westminster today with partners from the outdoor sector, making the case that EVERYONE should have the chance to get out & enjoy the great outdoors

Walking & time outdoors is essential to our health & wellbeing but #AccessToNature is unequal & progress on improving access has stalled 🧵

But despite its promises, this Labour administration has not yet taken any meaningful action.

Everyone deserves a place to walk. It shouldn’t be a “nice-to-have”. It has a huge impact on our health, wellbeing and daily lives.

Sunday is a pretty big anniversary* in the fight for the public’s right to enjoy the countryside...

Which has got us thinking about how previous Labour governments have consistently improved the public’s access to nature... 🧵

Should the England Coast Path follow the coast? 🤔

Call this a coast path? 🤔

Great to see the BBC cover the dangerous proposed route for the King Charles III #EnglandCoastPath

Rather than follow the historic beach at English Heritage's Osborne estate, the coast path will go miles inland along a busy A-road 🧵
