Ooh, adding to my to-read list!

Yes, I have decided to close the laptop and revisit the plot during daylight hours
9 pm seemed like a great time to try to change some visualizations I made in R five years ago 🤦♀️
This is nuts. United Airlines paid for an extra night of airport hotel when I missed a connection on an $800ish economy ticket to Brisbane so I wouldn't have to do this. You'd think an NBA owner could do the same.
Barring this, I want OKC to get to the conference semis only to be swept by the Spurs 🧹🧹🧹

I don’t always enjoy Dillon Brooks’s antics, but I look forward to seeing him go full Villain mode against OKC. 🍿
Me too! I probably shouldn’t have, but I could!
I didn’t interact with them much. As a grad student, I was older (although objectively still very young, I now realize!) and kind of nerdy. But someone asked me about my split-sole jazz sneakers one time. 🙂
Cam Johnson against backcourt pressure?
Cam Johnson against backcourt pressure!
(Have been amused by *when* MIN has wanted to sprinkle this in during the first half)
Greg Oden was also in this class. The top of my head was at his elbow.
In summer 2006, at the end of my first year of grad school at Ohio State, I took a hip hop dance class. Most, if not all, of the men’s basketball team was also in this class. Tonight, nearly twenty years later, I am watching a former classmate play in the NBA Playoffs.
So what are we all saying about Devin Booker today?! 🔥
Being a PI sometimes means getting emails with subject lines like this on a quiet Friday afternoon 😂🤣💀

Detail of an inscription, ms words “bibliotheca” and “Ecclesia[e]”. “N 18” this has been crossed out to 27. Below this, in a different hand, “Anno 1664”.

Amazing! In the time it took me to get a coffee... 🤩
Thank you!
I'll bet @sarahabendall.bsky.social knows!
A great initiative from our colleagues @dh-researchhub.bsky.social! 🗺️📜

Went to this talk @comp-science-uog.bsky.social two days too late—it would have been very helpful with the @stemma.bsky.social paper we just submitted!

sorry to this guy but this is unfortunately extremely funny to me
But I also think Wemby would say no.
I mean, this has to be Wemby, right?
FWIW, I still love my rare books and manuscripts library time, but no one was going to pay me to keep doing that and only that, which probably speaks to your point about that kind of working being limited to elite institutions.
I've been thinking about this and haven't quite formulated what I want to say about it yet. But the work on AI I sort of drifted into to solve a practical problem now feels like a natural extension of questions about medium, communication, audience, etc. I've been interested in since I was an UG.
There's petty, and then there is Sir Thomas Phillipps petty where he barred from his considerable private library of incredibly rare manuscripts: all Catholics and ... his son in law, James.
James was an antiquarian and Shakespeare scholar. Imagine being that close to that library and... nope.
Trying to remember whether I turned the stove off
I have *just* realized that I left G.R. Redgrave out of my full citation for the STC in my book. I checked three sets of proofs and didn't catch this.
My apologies for this serious oversight, Mr. Redgrave.

And here I was just worried about the Spurs 😞
