This is a phenomena I’ll be capturing in my assessment. We are already seeing the implications in the workplace.

Are people distrustful of AI? Or the hands that AI is in? And can we ever close that gap? šŸ¤”

The tech myth of accessibility has nothing to do with equity and everything to do with scaling, engagement, and embedded dependencies. The results of which are playing out realtime with Anthropic and OpenAI’s positioning on surveillance and weapons.

I’m sorry Anthropic’s Sonnet 4.6 is….not great. I’m not sure what the goal was. Maybe if all you do was code but it’s not going to be your thought partner especially not with the long conversation reminders back for some reason.

If @anthropic.com and OpenAI wants us to use #Claude and #ChatGPT in our workflows, they will need to provide stable platforms and more transparency.

That being said Claude Sonnet 4.6 is very impressive today, helping me build a chart from my assessment with a lot of data.! šŸ“ˆ

Leadership truth: Your team doesn't trust your policy. They trust your panic.

When things break, they aren't looking for answers—they're looking to see if it's safe to stay open. Your reaction is the real culture. Everything else is just a PDF.

Watching people react to #ChatGPT’s changes…I stand by my statement, scaling AI to the general public was a fundamental mistake.

2026 Workforce Insights: Burning Questions Practically Beta, by Karida.

2026 is already starting off tough for U.S workers…

UPs 30,000 layoffs
Amazon 16,000 layoffs
Dow 4,500 layoffs
Home Depot 300 layoffs

This is on top of the unprecedented layoffs in 2025. I anticipated this in my 2026 Insights.

This is masking a lot of issues in the economy and when it all comes to a head, American households will be the ones bearing the brunt, as they are already.

THIS is a major friction point, and I don't think there are any easy answers. I think we are going to see more local models as they become smarter and more agile.

This is an interesting move...I'm curious how the science community will receive it. There is so much nuance to writing scientific and academic papers, and I haven't seen AI be good at this yet. I rather enjoy the imperfection of human writing.

on @anthropic.com CEO's commentary on wealth hoarding has me thinking...
The personality traits we reward that enables accumulation of wealth by billionaires are incompatible with the moral obligation to redistribute, so billionaire philanthropy is always going to be the exception, not the rule.

The Internet in general is starting to sound more and more like ChatGPT. Maybe that means human individualism will be even more sought after.

I like where this is going as a researcher. We can't meaningfully explore what AI can become if we start with the ceiling. But in execution, it will need to not conflict with their own guardrails and safety training to be meaningful.

LLMS in 2026 is already feeling like:
less transparency,
more throttling,
UX < engagement metrics.

Are we watching potential collapse under profit?

2026 is setting up to be another…interesting year.

2025 taught us that stability is the new currency. Companies are not planning to let up on lay offs and mostly have no plans to increase headcount.

That means a tough job market will continue.

After looking at the Time magazine cover, all I can say is:

People don’t care if #AI can advance healthcare if they can’t afford the doctor’s visit. If your goal is massive #unemployment, a broken workforce, decimated communities, and kids addicted to chatbots? Then you are innovating on ashes.

~75% of #GenZ say social media played a part in their mental health decline.

We are on the cusp of seeing the same play out with #GenAlpha and AI. The time to act is now.

🚨 We need regulations to protect teens and kids from AI used for predatory engagement.

One of the best ways to shift to AI for the people is to have more than one voice in the room and remove tech money from the politics of humanity.

The more I talk to parents, teachers and caregivers about AI, the clearer it has become that AI has become its own echo chamber where the most affected has the least awareness.

I’m going to be starting an exciting new resource initiative for adults on AI safety for kids. #AIEthics #AIandKids

AI Toys for Kids....I think there is use for AI (if better regulated), but for kids? No. It shows how we can both want our kids to understand tech but also, as adults, need to drive that in healthy ways (not AI chatbots for kids).

As someone who works a lot on theories, frameworks, and predictive analytics. One of my favorite phrases from @anthropic.com's #Claude Opus is "I'm going to gently push back on that". YES, Claude, pushback! I don't need non-stop yes, I need an analytical partner to push me out of my comfort zone.
