I want to mute a specific moth but I know so much of the fandom loves him that I will miss out on sooooo much

I know I will have to at one point, especially because of it's prevalence in film history textbooks, but I am biding time until then. Same with a lot of the "important" movies that are really hateful

Well scream 5 was a deep cynical look not just into films but the culture around the fandom around them, the obsessive parasocial some have with works of art. 6 delved into it a bit but not as much. 7 did literally nothing, and feels super disconnected with the series as a result

I am a huge fan of film history but have always been very dodgy with birth of a nation mostly because I do not want to give such a hateful movie the time of day, still haven't seen it and I don't know if I ever will.
