Yeah the caption with em-dash and emoji doesn't help either. I agree.

Something like this www.scalemates.com/kits/foxbot-...

Usually pre-cut masks. Foxbot, dn models and now res/kit make them. Not too much trouble with those in my experience.

Yeah the 0.2 270 should do very well for that! I've been especially impressed with the atom paints myself.

Well March ended up not being a productive month when it comes to scale modelling so I didn't end up finishing the naiad in time. Still, it's a nice kit and I think it's going to turn into a very nice finish in the end. Messy workbench pic to show where I last left it last week. #histscalemodels

It is fine! I got 0.3 because I spray acrylic varnishes with it. I used my 0.2 before that and it worked. It's more that having separate lacquer and acrylic airbrushes is nice and easier to clean and maintain.

Another +1 for the 270. I got a 289 for acrylics as well recently.

The peeling is entirely optional they work fine as classic decals imo.

A good adaptation of a slightly quirky book. Really enjoyed it as well and some fantastic shots by Greig Fraser to top it off :)

Besides the slightly vague fit of the landing gear legs this kit is great.

For those of us still on Facebook (in my case solely for modelling groups) check out the march modelling madness GB. Start and finish any kit in March, just for good fun. It'll be my 4th year participating and Justin and Harald are nice hosts. www.facebook.com/groups/33109... #histscalemodels

Speaking of good customer service. I thought the mistakes on the fuselage here were my own. Gothaforce reached out saying there's something wrong with the decals and I will be getting a new kit. Meanwhile MBK has ordered replacement parts for my pontos models Roma set. ๐Ÿ‘ From me. #histscalemodels

Haven't really been posting any updates but work is continuing on the 3d printed Fokker D.VII. The kit has its issues but overall the fit and this magical not so brittle resin is making this kit certainly no more trouble than any styrene kit covered in lozenge. #histscalemodels

It is an excellent read I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it palatable for someone coming from IT (but with wider interests). I got at least one other person to read it and another to buy another book by you. I've got your quantum physics book as well to read at some point.

I think there might be some masking tape left on your left wing there!

I never say no to dark earth / mid stone schemes.

Yup RFM are probably my favorite armor brand despite having a bit lackluster instructions, at times completely omitting colour callouts! Great engineering though.
