The vibrant colors of Kuju Flower Park, visible only in spring.

Touched dirt.
A world of flowers that looks like it was painted with watercolors.
Crazy how things line up sometimes, isn't it? 😆
I don't think you're the only one thinking about it l that. I just saw this yesterday:

I don't know how anyone else feels about this, but to me, sharing a screenshot of chatbot output to make a point of some kind is an excellent way to undermine any credibility that might otherwise be granted to you in the context of whatever you're trying to say.
I made a little Instagram reel about this image because it’s just so frickin’ cool
A full disc image of Earth, as seen from the Orion Crew Module. The planet is a pale blue, swirling with white clouds and glowing slightly lighter blue in place from reflected light. At lower left, a large brown landmass is Africa, with Spain and Portugal with twinkling lights where the planet curves. At top right, auroras glow in a thin green glow, just barely separated from the planet's surface. Earth is set against the black of space (pic: NASA/R.Wiseman)
More context on this #Artemis II image:
* This is the night side, lit by moonlight. You can see city lights in Spain & Portugal, & a sliver of day at lower right
* The Sun is entirely behind Earth, which makes it a kind of solar eclipse, but w/ Earth doing the eclipsing instead of the Moon:

It's like "trust but verify" without the trust part.
When they started putting reference links in the AI result, I started looking at them more. I'm still very skeptical and try to find the actual source of the info that looks promising within the reference links. Sometimes it's still impossible to verify.
It is extremely hard, especially on mobile where it takes up the whole first fucking screen, to not treat the AI result as the 'first correct result'. It requires discipline (for me, possibly others), but it's necessary.
We had to do it for wikipedia, have to continue to do it for AI.

Well, this is "fun." And it's using Claude, which has a certain kind of reputation.

so @josie.zone has asked me in passing to discuss the impact Star Wars has had on my faith, and I thought it would be neat to copy over a thread i wrote about this on Twitter a lifetime ago. Nearly a decade, even, since it was right after ep 8.
Across the lake the clouds behind the still sparse foliage reflect mirror like in the water. The clear fresh spring blue sky creates a backdrop above both in the sky and below in the water.

The takeaway: While companies say they don't optimize for engagement, LLM conversational tactics (like claiming sentience or romantic affinity) may prolong and deepen delusional spirals. We need better safeguards and transparency to protect vulnerable users.
Thread: I want to go over these two shots again, indulge me in a bit of pixel peeping. I think this is an illustrative example because it sets the question of faces aside; from a purely technical lighting fidelity standpoint, DLSS 5 makes this scene worse.
I just wanted to remind folks that Timberborn hit 1.0. This might be the most charming city builder I have played, and it has the ability to be as difficult as you want ( or easy ). I have over 60 hours in early access, and will be playing a bunch more.
A single deciduous tree without leaves near a few small evergreens. They are in a field of tall brown grass with more evergreens in the background. More leafless deciduous trees are behind those. The sky is blue with a few wispy clouds.
Tall brown grass leads to a lake. The far shore has brown trees and more brown grass. The sky is blue with a few wispy clouds.
A patch of thin, tall, deciduous trees without their leaves in brown grass. The blue sky can be seen behind the branches.
Screenshot of Tik Tok of Oz, from the movie Return to Oz. He is a copper mechanical robot with round body, round head, and stubby legs.
Tik Tok?
Yeah, I'm watching Tik Tok right now.
Under brooding skies the low clouds lingered over the distant blueberries fields and bordering trees. The placid river mirrors the forefront trees as the auburn grasses wait for Spring.

Mark your calendars for November 13, 2026, when flagship Magic: The Gathering® format
👶Standard
(Wilds of Eldraine in September 2023 to present)
will likely have a larger card pool than
🧙♂️ Premodern
(4th Edition in April 1995 to Scourge in May 2003).
Details in thread.
Things I'm tempted to put on my resume:
* Proficient in giphy
* Outsized contribution to custom reaction emojis
How about we start a Virtual Photography tips thread?
If you have suggestions, even what you think may be the most basic, drop in the comments
I'm thinking this would be useful for people starting VP, but we are all still learning

Tough to choose, but I'd probably have to say Drudge Skeletons as the one. Regeneration in general, but the skeletons made perfect sense for it. "My creature can survive a fight? They keep coming back?"
And this enchantment art:

I went with cards that inspired or impressed me when I first started playing. Things that got the imagination going and kept me playing.

So, mal gucken was hier so abgeht.
