He puts a hand on her shoulder and says "Meowscarada. There was never a man who felt more loved... then [Blaziken] did." Meowscarada responds "... Thank you for everything, Reinhold. Truly." with emphasis on the word Truly. Okidogi, Baxcalibur, and Espathra look mournfully as they walk away. A few Blaziken are in the background. 2/6 mostly empty seating at the funeral with Espathra, Baxcalubur, Azumarill, Meowstic, Okidogi, and Reinhold leaving. A 80-90 year old female Blaziken stands nearby with a combusken and torchic. A few Blaziken are in the background leaving. 3/6 Meowscarada gazes mournfully with downcast eyes. 4/6 Meowscarada stands in front of Blaziken's grave while holding a single white daisy. The grave is inscribed in Ukrainian with the words "Physicist, Archaeologist, Beloved Husband" and Blaziken's canon name. There are many candles and flowers on the grave, and Meowscarada is growing vines with white daisies around his grave. Meowscarada says "As we confessed our feelings to each other that day, you warned me that you only had 6 years left... So thank you, my darling... For giving me 23." 5/6 back in the present, Iron Valiant gazes at present-day Meowscarada as she says "My new friend, I'm sure I can understand your master's loss." 6/6 Present day meowscarada gazes forward and says "Please, I would very much like to meet them."

At first thaw of spring, 1970, Blaziken was laid to rest near his hometown in the Carpathian mountains. After the funeral, Meowscarada has her last words with her husband.

The headstone reads:

Beloved Husband

As the snow began to thaw in early 1970, the brilliant physicist turned archeologist embraced his dear one for the final time. He invented the technique Radium Dating before much was known about the element... But only discovered its harmful effects and how to make it safe after it was too late.
