Mine would be Charko, the human-turned-Charmander who's a bundle of nerves, but feels unbeatable when adventuring with his partner Pampa.

Fun fact: Charko is the name he gave himself to "blend in" in the Pokemon world. It wasn't necessary, but it stuck.
