If James Rolfe ever decides to make an AVGN sequel I hope the sequel will be about the lost treasures/prizes from the Sword Quest competition Atari had in the early 80's (watch the AVGN Sword Quest video for more detail). The backstory of the Sword Quest is another story I think would fit for the next AVGN movie. It's highly doubtful, but you never know... This show did not sugar coating! But despite that it was a pretty good show, it was well written, it had memorable characters that you both liked & hated, and a great cast! We all played different characters & in pic 1 & 2 I play a coppersmith. In the 3rd pic I was one of the business men, I think, can't remember what that scene was about. This was the 2nd successful theatre play I was in (the 1st one was Rövarna på Skuleberget = Robbers on Skule Mountain). The crowd was packed & tickets sold out! I think I must have been in 3rd or 4th grade when I first saw this show & it was the season when Steve just left Marcy. So I followed the show until its ending & the early 80's season of the show I didn't get to see until I was in junior high when they started to reprise the show again on TV. "You can't do this today", unless it's animation for mature audience like The Simpsons, Family Guy & South Park, which must have inspired them to wanna make an animated revival of Married With Children. This is one of my former high school classmate's favorite movie & he actually had the exact "Vote For Pedro" T-shirt (I'm not sure If he still has it) It actually got an animated, short lived TV-show with many of the original cast voice reprising their roles. It was okay, since it was animated they could do a lot more crazier stuff they couldn't do in the movie since it was low budget, but it didn't have the same charm like the movie. It's a show with a talking car, of course a little kid would be interesting in watching it & KITT looked awesome as well, that was the car I wanted when I grew up (38 years old now & I still don't have a Trans Am. I don't think those cars are made anymore & I don't even have a license 😜) I watched a few episodes of the spinoff show Team Knight Rider, but that one was boring, bland & forgettable. Their vehicles didn't even talk either so it didn't felt like it was part of the Knight Rider lore. And I saw the pilot for the early 2000's reboot & I didn't like it at all. The characters were bland and forgettable, especially the new main character, the writing was such bullshit & I absolutely didn't like the new bulky design & car brand on KITT! Val Kilmer as the new voice was okay, but I still prefered the original voice & the original show! And censoring sucks! Though there are one or two, maybe three, episodes that actually has a creepy, scary suspense & atmosphere. Based on the EC Horror Comics of the same name, many of the stories/episodes are actually taken from their other horror anthology comics such as Vault of Horror, Haunt of Fear & Shocking Suspense Stories. #movieandtvchallenge A Christmas Movie: #gremlins Written by Chris Colombus (Home Alone 1 & 2, Harry Potter 1 & 2) & originally the script was more darker & more gory, but producer Steven Spielberg did a few changes & it still worked, it still has that horror feel but a bit toned down. There's one part I'm very glad they changed because it's one of those clichés in horror movies I absolutely hate even though it's not real! It also got a sequel, which is more over the top comedic toned, almost like a satire, but it was suprisingly still a very good & a very funny movie. A 3rd movie has been in the works for many years & now it seems like the movie will finally happen. It sadly won't be directed by Joe Dante, who made the other two Gremlins movies, but it will be directed by Chris Colombus, which I'm all for because he did write the 1st movie after all. Everyone I knew were TMNT fans & they all had their favorite Turtle, many liked Michaelangelo & Donatello, I knew one person who liked Raphael & my favorite back then was Leonardo because he had katanas, blue bandana & wristbands cause blue is my favorite color & he was the most skilled among his brothers. Today I like them all equally cause of their own personalities. I bet this movie would have been an epic classic without a doubt! I remember years ago that director Ari Folman (Waltz with Bashir & The Congress) was gonna direct an animated adaptation of Jodorowsky's Dune script, why the fuck didn't we get that movie & what happend?! I still want that movie & not the recent mainstream bullshit movie version everybody loves! To be fair, the recent movie did a better job with the story than the David Lynch version, but it didn't have the same charm & the cinematography in Lynch's movie was so much better!
