It really sucks that he passed away so early in his life. The movie is loosely based on Shakespeare's Henry IV parts 1 & 2 and Henry V. The best scene is the fire camp scene & River's character admiting to Keanu Reeves's character that he's in love with him was a sweet scene. It also sucks that River never got Oscar nominated for this movie, especially since it was a homosexual role & you know the Oscar stereotypical saying; Play a homosexual or a mentally challenged role & you'll guarantee get an Oscar nomination or a win 😜 But River did get other award wins for this role, but he didn't care about getting awards. #riverphoenix #keanureeves #gusvansant #udokier #flea #narcoleptic #homosexual #gigoló #gigolos
