Hi Ben, no worries! I'm still not very active on here anyway (although I'd like to change that). I'm really glad you enjoyed the film!

I enjoyed presenting my research to the Argyll Bird Club for their Spring Conference Meeting yesterday in Dunoon. The ferry trip over was a nice excuse for some bird- and seal-watching!

Spotted stock doves in the toad patrol cuppa host's garden today - she never knew she even had them and she has at least half a dozen! She also gets an otter, redwing, siskins, greenfinches, peregrine, buzzard, and lots more. Her garden becomes a mini wetland some of the year!

Only a week or 2 until we begin toad patrol season so a few of the team met up for cake & a natter at a volunteer's house about 30m from the site! Most involved are friends who replied to our call for help or locals who saw us out last year & are now core toad patrol volunteers ๐ธ #ToadPatrol

Yesterday saw the final day of a two-day online workshop on Curlew headstarting* by @curlewaction.bsky.social. A lot of preparation went into the event - it's been a busy few weeks! - but I think all delegates can agree that it was a big success, with many talking points & new ideas coming from it.
