Polaroid is flogging its 3x3 instant printer. The printer includes a frame to pop in a print. Not sure if this is a custom Zink printer or not, no specs found. It is not Polaroid instant film. Zink uses dye embedded in the paper to make the image. #believeinfilm

While browsing around the web, found a reference to New55, the 4x5 peel-apart film. The Kickstarter in 2014 succeeded, but losing access to the pod-making machine ended the project. The LomoGraflok is currently the only 4x5 instant film solution. #believeinfilm

Fujifilm Posts Record-High Revenue and Profits Fujifilm just keeps on rolling.

PetaPixel reports that Fujifilm had strong revenue and profits this past quarter. The company in particular pointed out its Instax growth, including a planned expansion of Instax film production and new Instax cameras. No mention of roll film, though. #believeinfilm

OT, not film related. Sounds like US states are allowed to use copyrighted materials, such as photographs, as they wish, due to sovereign immunity. Wow. Third parties handling such material may still be liable, however. SCOTUS ruled on this in 2020, appeal failed.
