Those bluebells make a lovely frame for the picture.

Walking along the South Bank, I noticed people on the balcony of the Royal National Theatre. They created a striking counterpoint to the strong lines of the building’s Brutalist architecture. The black and white treatment adds drama to the sky, which appears lighter around the silhouettes of the figures.

The cherry trees have had their show in Oozell's square in the westside of Birmingham. This square has many daffodils but no cherry trees. Still a pretty place.

I like the arch created by the tree.

St Paul's church in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter looking lovely in the spring sunshine. I am not such a fan of the large office block in the background. Such buildings are difficult to blend into a picture but the trees do a good job. There is a nice open feel to the square framed by the trees.

I enjoyed this week's judging and the mix of trees and wildlife was not intentional. The pictures fell into place.

I love viewing everyone's pictures but when you are judging you feel the weight of making the right decision. I loved the snow scene you captured. All the others were great photographs but you have to pick a winner. Congratulations Euan.

Decision time and the winner is @circa35mm.bsky.social for his magical image of snow falling amongst the trees. Well done for braving the conditions to bring us this amazing wintery scene.

Thank you to everyone who entered this week.

So uplifting to see the bluebells arriving and this is early. Such beautiful light shining on the blue carpet.

The sharp and piercing eye of the hare holds your attention in this study of a beautiful animal

The snow falling in the forest. The scene is magical with the diagonal lines created by the snow contrasting with the vertical lines of the trees.

The female fox moving through the scene lines up with the rows of daffodils. Such a lovely composition.

This is my shortlist for #Sharemondays2026.

I do enjoy looking through the entries but then comes the decision making which is difficult. Winner announced later this afternoon/early evening.
