MOKF 48 1976 double page approaches a crescendo that mixes Gulacy's illustrative and cinematic approach, Moench's elegant descriptions and Abel & Marcos' inking that brings together visuals that are very difficult to capture in any other medium. #ShangChi kicking a$$ like usual.

Love that #SpiderMan Brand New Day is back to street level Spidey and classic cover homages. This one is a 1974 throwback.
Bertram Fitzgerald self-published Fast Willie Jackson in 1976, drawn by Archie artist Gus Lemoine. Gus had tried introducing characters of color to Archie but was rejected. This series was well-received, but killed by poor distribution and advertising.
#Ted is a hilarious, raunchy show set in 1992, featuring some of the same cast as Seth MacFarlane’s other series, The Orville. The titular bear is also shown reading comic books; specifically Groo the Wanderer #1 (1982).
I just finished watching #MadMen (2007–2015), which I enjoyed. It explores identity, creativity, and the cost of corporate success in the 1960s advertising world. Bert Cooper led me to watch what almost feels like a prequel: How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, starring the same actor.

John Byrne and Chris Claremont based the Hellfire Club on these on screen personalities in 1980. Can you name them all?
I couldn’t get into Mad Men a few years ago. But maybe it’s because I’ve watched alot of old movies by now, I understand the references. I’m at the end of season 2 now and am enthralled. So far it feels like a man who lost himself into Madison Avenue society of the early 1960s and I’m digging it.

I was watching Arthur (1981) starring Dudley Moore and noticed a recreation of the famous 1940 #Superman painting by H.J. Ward on the wall of his bedroom. Anyone know the story behind this?
