Aircraft #Noise is a #PublicHealth issue. Research shows those exposed have 24% higher risk of stroke, 21% higher risk of heart disease & 14% higher risk of cardiovascular issues. Heathrow expansion would increase this by doubling the number of flights over 100s of 1000s of people. #NoThirdRunway

We've subsidised oil companies for decades as we "need" their products to run society, but now we dont, we need to use those same subsidies for heat pumps, EV's, solar panels, turbines, bio mass what ever else we can use to generate electric, it's only fair, we'd get to "net 0" real fast that way.

Yes #bbcr4today is shocking on #climate. They regularly give a platform to airport bosses wanting expansion without any challenge. And when did they last have a #climate campaigner on to provide some balance? I can't remember them ever doing so.
